Internship sensibilities at HACHIX Co., Ltd.

NGUYEN XUAN HOANG, a first-year student at Toyohashi University of Technology, talks about the sensibilities of "spring internship" at HACHIX.

I am living a first year life at Toyohashi University of Technology, and I was asked if the knowledge taught at the university would be sufficient. I was still in the first grade and hadn't studied much in the specialized subjects of the Faculty of Computer Science, but I was told that if I became a member of society in the future, I would have to acquire a lot of new knowledge. However, I don't think it can be said that the knowledge of the university alone is absolutely insufficient. With such a question, I started an internship at HACHIX Co., Ltd.

In addition, I started because I wanted to get in touch with the environment and work of the company and feel the expertise, but the values changed from what I thought before starting the internship. In terms of technology, my knowledge was just a drop in the ocean. For the first time, I've touched on corporate exam planning apps such as Github, Webex Teams, Monday, and Hubstaff. Besides, when I tried the project, various libraries, technologies, systems, environment settings, etc. were nightmares for me. I thought that if no one told me everything, I wouldn't even know the existence of that knowledge. I remembered the words, "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together." I gained an awareness of contributing to society and helping others. Ever since I was born, I have used the services provided by society without thinking about anything. However, if you are the provider, you have to make various efforts to get others to use the service.

What you get from an internship changes not only your knowledge and social experience, but also your work consciousness and relationships with people. It's important in your life to learn what to do if you can't do anything from where you can't do anything when you're just starting your internship.
